Bag on the shock, twice. They just aren't very durable for street use I guess  :dunno:

how many miles did you have on shockwaves before they failed? how did they fail? what was the cause? I'm just trying to see if they are worth installing on daily driver which will see some serious abuse on regular basis

4,000miles, the first shock broke internally. The second shock the bag itself tore a 1" hole in it.

As for failing internally, if they are driven on all the way up it is bad for them. At what setting would your Dad normally drive? Full up, half, more than likely not all down? The tear? I don't know?

I'll tell you what, there customer service is awesome.

It was about 65psi or so on the front at speed, which allows the tires to turn fully lock, and all... They're customer service has been okay as far as parts go. However they haven't wanted to touch the car themselves it seems. Which luckily I've been here to help my Dad with his issues on the car.

It's cool, however I'm not impressed with it's streetability...alteast with the setup in his car. Luckily the shocks went out at low speeds. Losing the front right shock on the highway? That'd be a problem. The rear on the highway would shred a tire...
