Use a B body sway bar. They are a tad bit narrower than an E body unit.

The E body addco bar that attaches to the axle housing with the u bolts and the end links running to the frame will work with the mopar offset spring hangers (I know you said Dr. Diff, but the setup is probably similar). If you go with super stock springs or anything like that, make sure to increase the front sway bar and/or torsion bar size as well. Running the stock front sway bar and the add on one in the rear can create some dangerous handling tendencies with the super stock springs.

good question - let me know what you figure out. I am in the same boat. I thought someone here had redrilled the lower attach brackets. The end links still are pointed slightly inward using this solution I think. Would this be a big deal and/or affect functionality?

I think Rob redrilled the mounts on his , definatly will not affect function as long as the links are not angled too far & damage the bushings

Sorry I'm late on this; too many new threads and topics to accidentally find my name on.

I took my factory sway bar plate and sliced the side support a couple of inches on the side that I wanted to move. I bent it outward, creating a gap.  I then welded in a flat piece of steel to fill the opening and welded it on both sides.  I then drilled a new hole, then snuck up on it's final size, with a die grinder.

I will be making another set for my 2nd challenger sometime soon, so I'll take some pics for my resto-thread.

Rob

I have the Dr Diff 1" kit.  I'd like to have the sway bar bent.  How much did it cost, and how did you know how much to bend it.  1" per side?

As it stands, my factory bar is installed to the factory spots, just moved in 1" per side now.

Seems like 1 of the manufacturers would make something up?
