did any cars come from the factory with 1/2 inch fuel outlets?? unless i was looking at a specter catalog wrong it lists 5/16,3/8 and 1/2 inch sending units.

nothing I am aware of but someone could be building them to fit stock tanks

I do not remember who had them, but I have seen the 1/2" units being sold recently.

I have a new 1/2 fuel inlet for the stock tank. I decided I don't need it though
