My almost painted car.
« on: December 26, 2008 - 07:03:31 PM »
These few pics were in my phone from a while back. The trunk jambs and underside of the trunk lid are painted but I dont have any of those yet. Also threw in a pic of the new hood.

I will be painting mine all together.  Mine will be black, so it is not so much a problem, but if you are using metalic paints, the panels can look different in the light.

Thanks for the encouraging words guys/gals, I am starting to get excited again. The best I can tell he is going to paint the jambs, engine bay and trunk along with the insides of the doors, fenders and underside of the hood. Then with all the panels installed and adjusted for gap he will paint the rest of the car on the outside along with the little things like mirrors, etc hanging. Dont hold me to it though, I have never professed to be a painter. It is something I wish I had the talent for though. I was suprised how smooth and creamy the underside of the trunk lid is. I am starting to like Butterscotch more and more.

I have not seen them myself yet. All I have seen is a big patch of Butterscotch on the underside of the trunklid. I will try to get up there soon and take some new pics. I actually have MY OWN camera now that stays where I put it so I can actually follow through. I would have gone today to take pics but I wanted to make good on my word to take pics of the dealer installed air conditioner Challenger for a member.
