Those things are a TIGHT fit! You absolutely cannot run power steering because the steering box takes up too much room. Power brakes are iffy too. I had the booster on mine for a while but changed over to non-power brakes because the valve cover was so close to the booster I had to unbolt the tranny mount and jack the tranny up against the floorpan to get enough clearance to get the valve cover off. The right valve cover will probably rub against the shock tower and there are no headers made to clear the steering box on the left side. The easiest way to do it would be to use an AlterKtion or Magnum Force front end assembly, as this solves a lot of problems. It gives you rack and pinion steering and gets rid of the torsion bar suspension which then gives you plenty of room for headers. If you go with the stock K member and steering the easiest thing to do would be to get a set of the 'truck' exhaust manifolds and use them. They have a 2.5" opening for the exhaust pipe and are identified by the 4 bolt exhaust pipe flange. They aren't cheap though, usually going for $300-$400 when you can find them. There are other things you need to do, but if you're a decent backyard fabricator it's not a big job. If you're serious about doing the swap email me at l_srader (at) hotmail dot com and I can send you pictures and more detailed info.

Cudax, haven't gotten anything yet. The first letter in the address is a lower case L, not an I.

Dodgeboys, I have an Autometer tach in the car. The MSD controller has a tach signal wire (yellow) in the harness. Are you running a factory computer on yours?

No I am running the AEM box I am going to call them and see if I can add a tach signal wire from the box but dodge didnt prewire it.  :pullinghair:

I can see RPM with the laptop hooked up but I want the factory dash tach to work with it.

I don't know anything about the AEM boxes, so calling them would be your best bet. MP has a tach adapter part #P4510598 for the factory ECM but I don't know if it would work in your application.

Thats the option if I can not add it from the box Autometer has the same adapter for 1/2 the money.

Thanks I was hoping to find some one using one  of the adapters to see how they like it.
