    Trunk lock rod covers all years he same?

    Are the covers for the trunk lock rods the same for all years? or is the 70-71 different from the 72-74? I have one from a 72 but it does come close to fitting on the 70 tail panel the way it did on the 72. I have seen some listed for sale that fit all years and then I found an ad for 70-71. My guess is there is a difference. Did I guess right? ???

    Yes, 70-71 are quite a bit different.   Not terribly hard to find, and they are also reproduced.

     :iagree: the distance from the center pillar to the taillight is much less in 72-74
