First, I cant remember what brand gaskets that everyone was recomending. They're for my Small Block TTI's.... crushable I think...
Also, I suspect that one or more of the "air ports" on my econo heads are leaking by. I really Hate the sound of someone brushing they're teeth under my hood..

I try to get the copper or alum gaskets as they will not blow out , & I generally have the air ports blocked with setscrews

I forgot to mention, they have cone shaped set screws....
it sounds ghetto, but i was thinking of using this "header putty" crack filler from autozone.....

There is a Permatex product specifically for header gaskets. I used it on mine and have had no problems since and I just used the cheap gaskets.
