Cuda kills a couple more!!

Took the Cuda out for a cruise up to the local Sonic burger joint being a beautiful 60 degree Sunday. On the way there I pull up to a light and wouldnt you know there sits a new(er) C6 vette right next to me. It appeared to be a middle aged couple out cruising around. Well the light turns green and I play it cool at first as not to look like a jack ass and pace the Vette as we pull away. About 60 feet out the Vette punches it and that was it. I laid it to the wood and pulled him like he had put it into reverse!!! The next light they give a friendly wave and turn off. On my way home I get on the interstate and as I'm in the fast lane passing traffic I have a Porsche Boxster pull up behind me and starts riding my bumper. I speed up a little and he stays right there and I can see a **** eating grin on his face. Already going 80 I flatten the gas pedal in high gear and put about a 1/2 mile gap between us!! As I exit the highway he pulls along side me all grins and gives a thumbs up. What an eventfull outing!!

nice..... but people who ride your bumper like that are a-holes.......

cool story    what happens in the us when cops catch someone riding you bumper like that?  in the netherlands it would mean a $500,- ticket...   I just hate it when people do that

Actually the State Highway Patrol is doing a crackdown of people tailgating this week!! Dont know what the ticket cost but it is not cheap!! If I was in my other car I would have brake checked him for sure!

yeah well, that would be my first thought too, but it comes with a risk huh...   first he needs a second to response and then he`s too late...

I drive a 1990 Volvo wagon so it wouldn't hurt my feelings too bad. I'm sure he has good insurance! But seriously it would have to be pretty severe for me to do that. Usally I turn on my rear fog lamps (volvos have that built into the tail lamp) and that gets them off my ass.

Nice Kill!!! I HATE tailgaters. The last time I had a bad one was a musgrat on the interstate and I was in my '68 Cuda. The Fish ate a Pony for dinner!!!
