Camber Change with Ride Height
« on: January 28, 2009 - 11:16:20 AM »
Just had the front end aligned, set at -.5 degrees camber and now want to raise the front a little bit. Curious how much changing the front end height say 1" would affect the camber (or even toe for that matter). Caster is maxed out at 3.5 pos.

everything affects everything , you will probably lose a bit of camber & toe will change how much depends how much you raise it up

The front end settled between the garage and the alignment shop round trip and lost about 1/2" from what looked right to me. I just installed all new components and can only guess they hadn't seated in yet.

It does have a pull, and the steering wheel is just a bit off center, so I planned to take it back to the shop anyways. I will reset the height before that. :working: Thanks for the response CP.
