yep, maybe if you were trying to sell it about a year ago,now there are plenty projects with sheetmetal replaced and all rust fixed at less than half of your asking price and some are even nicely painted at around 10k ,
I'm not calling you out at all, but I'm looking for a project car, and I was wondering if you know of any that are around the prices and conditions that you stated that arent for sale on this site?? Looking for 70 or 71 challenger or cuda.
Thanks.

well.i am hardline on the price because, when i look around, and see rust bucket pieces of crap,selling/trading hands for $3500-$6000 or even the cars that people love to advertise as "a solid builder, not a rot box, only needs quarters, trunkpan, floorpans, and roof" (sorry folks, thats a rustbucket) asking $10K-$15K i see no reason that my car isn't worth $9000. i mean a serious offer on the car will buy it,but $5-$6K is not serious. and the folks that have offered that amount have the same story to tell. "well i can buy this car for blah, blah, blah" when the truth is simple. if you could, you would have already bought that car,and you wouldn't be messaging me about mine. period.
i mean seriously, how stupid does this sound...........
"i will only give you $5K for your car. i can buy a better one for $3500 blah, blah, blah" so, you just want to throw away $1500 for the hell of it???????
that story is  :horse:
hahaha it can sit. if no one wants it at my price,it can just lay and rest. i am not going to build it,but all the whiners who want it for nothing will never get to build it either.

oh and for exvelocity, please. we have all done it. got a vehicle or two on a trade, done alittle work, and traded some more and when is all said and done, you don't have sqat in some cars. just the way it works out. if the car was yours, you would try to get as much as you can out of it. i hear that line of crap from people all the time. you only like a situation like i have on this car when the ball is in your court. turn it around and its the same. sure, tell another one.............

The last one I bought it for 1500.00 but that was about 10 years ago.   :2cents:  I know it is hard to find one today for that price but just might somewhere.  I am sure I looked at this car several years ago and it was around that area.
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

Thanks and I do understand. If you wait it out I'm sure a real buyer will come along. You don't run into BL1 cars all to often which will help. Most of us know the thousands body work can cost. Hopefully you'll find someone that sees the value. I personally love the way it sits (color, top, stick ect) and think it would be a great driver restored. Sit tight I'm sure you'll find a buyer

the chally has been traded. i traded her for a sweet, rust-free 383/auto numbers matching 70 charger 500 a buddy of mine has had in storage for 12 years. he all of a sudden decided he wants to build a T/A clone. thanks for the ad and all who looked.
