I too think its the ammo that the tree huggers are going to go after. Just watching that clip makes me sick to think a man just defending his own house and life got a huge sentence in prison while the burglar that lived got out in 18 months and is going to use tax dollars to sue the home owner

Here in Colorado, just recently a guy shot another man who was breaking into his home.  Turns out the guy was drunk and lived one block away in basicly the same house.  The guy's wife was on the phone with 911 but the magical operators didn't help at all.  Anyway, the guy shot the other guy and he did not go to jail as here in Colorado we have the Make My Day Law in effect.  This has happened a few times in the last year here.  Burglers deserve to be shot if you catch them in your home.  States that allow the law to jail a defender and the offender to get out of jail early are out of line.  Those laws need to be changed.

Back to the gun grabbers though. What is an Assault Weapon. An AK-47 isn't an assault weapon. An M-4 isn't either. An assault weapon is a weapon that is/was used to make an assault on someone. Pure and simple. A rifle is a rifle. Weapon is a NOUN, ASSAULT is a VERB. WTF.
Tagging certain weapons as such was the first nail in the coffin. It was the first inch we gave them.

Am I saying that anyone should be able to own one of these? Don't be stupid. Should there be a ban on Assault Weapons? How can you ban and act that hasn't happened. Obama is going to re-instate this ban and everyone knew it, since then people have been buying them up. I don't feel the need to but I would like to get one for the simple fact that they will be something you just can't get anymore.

Just remember, calibers .25 and UNDER are the deadliest weapons.

4 to 8 people every winter die on sowmobiles in mich. weve already had 3 that i know of. and yet i hear no media yelling to ban these sleds of death, if 1 person in injured with a gun look out the media makes it out to be armegedon. hunting is the one of the safest sports on the planet, more injuries occur playing soccer. golf, etc.
