    I just got back the rear bumper for the 68 Runner from the chrome shop. I had lost the bolt's but want to go play on Madison Ave that night. I found some bolt's that would thread in but no washer's, it seem good in tight so off I went. The Runner was all dolled up them. Pro Street looking strip's and $2000.00 in chrome under the hood and ran like a raped ape. She had the rep that she was not one to be    F--Ked with. Well I pulled in to Stake & Shake and parked her. Popped the hood and let the people enjoy her. Boy I was smug then, well still am.Well I drank my shake and was ready to go beat up some    Z-28.  Side of the car said Z-Eater. Well I fired her up and shut the hood. Let her idle awhile and pulled out, all eye's where on me. Got to end of the lot and turned right on to Madison ave and light them up. Guess what.  The F--King bumper fell off  in the middle of the road.  Boy I felt like a Dumb F--k when I pulled over and had to pick it up and stuff it in the car.Only bad thing I have ever had happen there.            Cuda Ken

    Hey, ***t happens!

    In my non-R/T 68 Charger, the 'royal rustbucket,' I was driving downtown when the lower corner of my 'bumper holder' (?) fell off!  I'm not sure what you'd call it, but it's what you attach the bumper to.  Talk about embarrassing!

    Same Charger, pulled into a gas station, filled it up and it suddenly sprung leaks like a vegetable strainer.   :-/  After that, I noted I could only put about 5 gallons in at a time or I was leaking like a sieve.

    Yeah, it had the tightest front-end I'd ever had, considering its age.  I was pleasantly surprised ... kept wishin' I could swap it all out with the R/T, but I guess things were different.

    Handled great in this snow!
