Terry- or anyone else who has built one of these

I'm putting together the low reverse assembly and I had a question on the low/reverse drum washer that goes between the snap ring retainer and the drum. Originally it was a plastic thrust washer, my kit came with regular thrust washers (metal). My original plastic washer is in good shape, would you recommend replacing the plastic washer or keeping it. Is one better than the other? They mike out the same at .063", I also have one (metal also) that mikes out at .065".

Thanks!

I did everything on this car except the fancy paint stuff and I drive it...and I can't seem to stop messing with it....
