Help with pictures

I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
I am trying to post pictures but it tells me that my files are to big. How do i resize pictures to make them fit?

Right click on the picture, go to open with, should have a picture manager go to that, then on the tool bar it will say picture, click on that and down a little it says resize.  Resize and save.  Hope this helps.
