2 Cudas on TV this weekend
« on: February 15, 2009 - 09:12:01 AM »
Not sure if it was covered already, but it looks like both Horsepower and Muscle Car on Spike are doing Cuda projects this morning (or is it the same Cuda on both shows?).  Horsepower is building a 440.

Those horsepower guys are tards. I wouldn't let them touch my engine. They were bragging about making 425 HP. With all the goody parts they threw at it they shoulda been making 500 at least. The middle carb must have been the only one working on the dyno pull.

They are representing Mopar in a bad light.

I saw that as well and was surprised they were only getting 425 horsepower.

When a stock 440 6 pack can pull 390hp, 425 is nothing. They probably are running a really small cam.

I think the 440 Horsepower is building is going into the Musclecar Cuda

Yep, it's going into Dana White's Cuda, (president of the UFC).
I hope he beats their @ss once he realizes how little justice they did to his motor  :horse:

Missed the internal work, only saw the end and the dyno run. Those guys were really proud of their work. High fives all around.  :eek7:     :screwy:

Everytime they get a mopar on their show to build they always do a restomod, probably because they can't afford to do a quality restoration. And both e-body's that they have had on the show have been sent off to have stuff done by another company, like year one. They obviously don't know how to work on mopars. :nono:

Funny you should say that - they talked about redoing the red Challenger like everything was done at the Musclecar shop - they they get Keith Maney from YearOne on the show who talked about how they did this and that and how they are going to do the interior next. So much for authenticity!

I was disappointed with the Horsepower guys, and the Musclecar guys.  The engine was bad enough, but when the Musclecar guys started fabbing their own suspension peices......  I sure hope their stuff stays together and comes close to matching all the time and work put into the pieces by XV.  I would be a little upset if I were the XV guys and saw what they were doing.
