Do E-Body Rear Interior Side Panels Interchange?
« on: May 15, 2005 - 04:37:48 PM »
I was looking at some photos but can't tell for sure whether Challenger & Barracuda rear, interior, side panels are the same. These are the molded plastic panels at the left & right sides of the rear seat. They look the same, but I would like to know for sure if they are before I start hunting for a set & buy the wrong ones.

I'm not interested in the aftermarket set, they don't look right to me & a lot of people complain about fit also.

Thanks if anyone can help, Bob

they are different , the treim lines in the panels are different & the Cuda uses a sail panel , the chall does not so they ar different at the top edge as well & I believe the cuda is shorter aslo as the cUda has a 2" shorter wheel base

Thanks CP. I did manage to come across some pics on a website catalog & eBay, where I saw the differences you are saying. I had a rear set from a junkyard in my shed for over 15 years & sold them thinking I'd never use them. Now that I have a Barracuda with cracked rear panels.....  ::)

(1) Door panels are the same for Cuda Vert and Coupe, or no? (2) Rear side panels are the same for Cuda Vert and Coupe, or no (probably no)?  Thanks.
