Which Engine Harness?

Hello Everyone,
Been a while since I've posted on here, it seems most of the issues I have are already answered by someone! You've all helped me through a lot!
Here's my latest question,
I have a '73 'Cuda, with a 1970 340. I'm looking at getting a new Engine Harness but I'm not sure which to get, I know I have electronic ignition, but it doesn't appear to be a 2 piece harness like I thought the 73 & 74 harnesses were, can anyone point me in the right direction? Or perhaps tell me what else I need to look for on the harness to know which to get?
Also, while we're on the subject, I'm currently installing a new dash harness, and would like to clean up both sides of the bulkhead connector (one reason for the engine harness) I've found new terminal connectors for the wiper motor plug, the other 4 wire plug (can't think of the name now) and the engine harness plug, but I can't find one for the Forward Light Harness terminal on the bulkhead, can anyone help me out with this? I'd like to replace all connections, and all plastic pieces, but I don't feel the entire forward light harness needs replacing.

IIRC, all of the bulkhead connectors are Packard 56 terminals. Do some searching, I got mine from DelCity.

Thanks! I ordered some packard 56 terminals, didn't have any luck finding the plastic housing for the forward light harness though.

So I understand it may be a tough question to answer, would I be just as well off ordering the 73 one? I'm pretty capable at electrical work so I'm not concerned about having to modify it if it comes to it, just wondering what the best starting point would be.

The '73 harness will have all of the connections that you'll need.  The vintage of the motor is basically immaterial.

You need the '73 harness. BUT... If you ordered the terminals already you must feel confident in making things yourself. Making up the harness is not difficult. Buy a few small spools of wire and copy the factory harness one wire at a time. You can probably clean up and reuse your original plastic bulkhead connectors that you can't find new replacements for.   :2cents:

By the way, some of the 'new' plastic connectors are a light semi transparent blue colour and the old originals look better anyway.

Thanks for the info guys! I think I'll order the engine harness because I've got several projects going on at once and I'd like to get back to them before I forget where everything goes :dunno:
As for the terminals, I am confident in my abilities, but the plastic connectors were quite brittle, and slightly melted, as well as a couple of them were broken where they clip in. So I'd like to replace them. Luckily I think the one I can't find a replacement for is in pretty good condition. It'll be nice to have everything freshened up on the bulkhead connector.
On the downside, I found one of the bolts on the alternator was loose, turned out it sheared off flush with the head, tried an extractor (although I had a feeling it was a bad idea) and it broke off as well. Tried welding a nut to it, but I couldn't get the weld to get decent penetration on the hardened steel extractor, so my next step is to try a diamond encrusted drill bit to cut it out, and then I'll retap the hole. Fingers crossed...
If that fails I'll probably pull the head and take it to a machinist in town.
