I havent tried that either. Sadly my speedo developed a problem. Odometre is jumping back to zero every once in a while. I e-mailed them about it and so far their customer support has been exellent. New gauge should be on the move soon. I was relieved to hear they file customer`s orders and since you can customize anything on these ,this can also come in handy when you want to add new gauges. Still sucks I need to pull the cluster though...  ::)

I wish they could modify/convert the existing factory speedo to accept the GPS input.
Putting a 518 into my car and the biggest hurdle is hooking up the speedometer cable.  Would love to eliminate the cable.

I must admit I've had fun playing around with all the different options. A VERY well set up web site for sure!  :clapping: I've been considering this for a few years now, just hasn't been on the top of my priority list. If they has an exact font/layout like my 70 standard gauges I'd be all over it! :grinyes:

update...

So, here`s what happened:    Speedhut had me order a new speedo.  I paid for the gauge and they covered shipping.  I had it within a week, in the Netherlands that is...  Exact copy of the one I had and I didn`t have to worry about it one second.  Then I pulled mine from the car and shipped it to them. Full refund of purchase price and shipping from me to them , again within one week...

They answered my emails about custom work and said for $10 per gauge they could match the stock font/layout. After thinking a bit on it , it sure would be great if you could select MPH or KPH . That sure would be handy for me! :grinyes:
My Dad's newer Chev Impala has that feature!  :2thumbs:
