    Hi all,

    I have a chance to pick up a 74 Cuda, haven't seen it yet, but I gather it will be a parts car at best.  All I know so far is that it's a 360 4 speed, no grill, typical rust.  Supposed to have the drivetrain intact.  Assuming that the interior is half decent, dash and seat covers trashed, most everything else there,  a fender or two, hood & deck lid in average condition.  I'm looking to use a few parts on my Challenger,  sell the rest to get the 440 put together.

    Any idea what I should offer?

    They didn`t make a lot of `74 360/4 spd `Cudas so it might be worth it to sell it complete.With the original drivetrain you might get $2-3000 or more,check out the e-bay posts for `cudas!  :o

    Its hard to say PG until you see it.  Then you and all of us will know more!!  My gut says $1500-2200.  Oh does it run??  ???

    OK here's the scoop,

    It's a 74 with rusted front frame rails, pretty much a parts car at this point.  Also, it's a SB Auto ( prolly a 318 ). :(

    According to the owner:

    quarters are decent, fenders are OK, small krinkle on one, no rust though.  ralleye hood, front & rear valence average, interior there and in average shape ( nothing to write home about ). 

    I didn't ask too many questions, as I'm not too interested. 

    He's asking $1250.00

    P.M. me if you want to get in touch with him, I'm sure it's all or nothing on the car, he didn't sound like he wanted the hassle of parting it out.

    Where are you from? the 4 speed setup is worth 1,000 bucks alone if you wnat to part it out. Ebody prices are crazy. You can sell every little bit and piece on that car. If it's salvageable, sell it complete so someone can restore it. They're not making anymore , so try to keep whats left hanging around...

    I have to agree with 74chall on this one. I know you might not be interested in it P.G., but that price isn't bad. Heck, I'll bet you could turn around and get more for it on E-Bay. Just say it's an easy fixer upper ;D The big positive for you would be if it ran. Do you know if it does?

    Well they only made 480 360 4 speed 1974 cudas. So right there its desireable. And given that the 70s and 71s are gone into the stratosphere, the 72s and up are next to go. If you can get it for $3000 or so, you got a future steal.

    only problem is ...PG said it was a SB Auto..soo no 4spd....and if its a 340 i'd snatch it up..but its not  worth as much as 360 4spd setup..wheres it located.?

    It's an Auto, so nobody thinks I'm too crazy for not snapping it up.  It's in Rosewood, OH.  A little town N.E. of Dayton, about an hours drive. The guy made it sound pretty rusty underneath, so I doubt it'd be a "fixer upper "  ;)
