I'm probably not the best judge because my experience with their street grinds is limited, but I don't care for their roller grinds. I've seen them for both big and small block eat valve train parts while Crane grinds with similar specs don't. I talked to a tech guy at Crane and he seemed to thing it was bcause they farm out cams to other grinders that didn't "spark out" the wheels on the roller grinds. That's grinding the lobes on the cam until the sparks from the grinding wheel stop. He might have been lying because Crane is a competitor, or due to the volume of buisness Comp does he could have been telling the truth.
If they do send out some work to a slop shop I can guess what it would be. They sell many more cams to Chevy and Ford racers, so they would be their focus. I think like most guys on here that you're better off going with a company that specializes in Mopars and grinds their cams in house, like Engle.
