unisteer rack and pinion
« on: March 01, 2009 - 06:45:27 PM »
I know that this was discussed already a while ago but has anyone here used one.  I trial fitted my 5.7 hemi into my challenger and this would give me a lot more room.  Any comments on this the unit?

that is the one that mounts to the rear of the factory K right ?
if so I have not used one but you will have to modify the steering column to bend down to the rack other than that it looks like a good system

Yes that's the one I am trying to find out some info because everything I read anywhere is old.  Many people said that there were problems but supposedly they were corrected?  You get everything to bend down to the rack in the kit.

Ok it would seem obvious to include the parts to do the swap But I just replaced the Hubs on my truck & they left out some basic parts that were needed to do the job
