You need to read this and call me:
I live in Cary, NC. I have in my possession a 1967 Barracuda Convertible that has 69,000 original miles for sale. Here's the story:
A very close friend of mine owns this car. His 2nd cousin bought it new @ Hogan Motors in Concord, Mass in 1967. The car was brought out west to California, where it stayed for many years. My friend bought the car from his Cousin's estate in 1982 when she died.
He states that she had had the car under a carport the whole time since new unit she died in 1982. He has had it garaged since then until now.
We have worked a deal that I will sell it and we will split the proceeds.
The car has a 273 V8 motor, 2 barrel, auto transmission and center console. The car was a dark dark green body with black interior and white top from the factory.
The car was stripped to the metal in 1982 and painted black imron because my friend didn't like the dark green original color. The paint still looks beautiful today. The interior is still all original and in excellent condition. No tears, no faded carpet, no cracks in the dash............it is beautiful. Under the hood and in the trunk is still dark green.
NO RUST EVER!!!! The car came to NC around 1991.
The white top is the original 37 year old top. It has no tears. The stitching around the edges is beginning to fray a little bit, but still looks good and is still servicable.
What's this car worth to a collector?
I'll take offers, or will be willing to take a partial trade for a small Sport Utility such as a 95 thru 2000 Explorer or 93 thru 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee for my Daughter that is soon to be 16.
Will take trade plus CASH.
If interested, you can email me at
