It's been a while since I posted. I have spent most of my time looking for car parts, working or time with the family. Well, finally I have some good news.
Up to this point, my car has been a heartless shell awaiting the heart transplant. For the fist time in 15 years, my car will have an engine.
After a relentless hunt, I finally found a good deal locally on a decent motor/trans.
I bought a rebuilt 74 .40 over 360, mild cam, performer intake, 650 carb, electric choke/ignition.
The motor and trans came from a 77 Dodge PU, right down the road. Funny....
I got to hear it run, let it warm up, look at all the receipts.... I felt pretty confident that this motor would do without worry for a while.
The guy I bought it from seems pretty cool as well. He offered to pull the engine and transport it on his trailer for me!
Now we are cooking with gas...
