« on: June 11, 2004 - 09:46:17 PM »
I have always wanted a cuda or challenger. Time to get one. Prefer a 4sp but will settle for auto. Decent car with no rust. Dont mind doing some work. Anything for $15k- $20k?

Welcome to the board, GRM!  With that amount of money you should be able to find a pretty nice 72 - 74 Cuda or Challenger.  The 70's and 71's are going to be more expensive, but if you don't mind working a bit on it, you should be able to find something.  Beware of eBay right now...scam artists are offering "too good to be true" deals...hopefully no ones been taken for any money by these clowns.

Anyway, welcome again and I'll keep an eye out for ya.

Thanks for the input. I have taken many trips to Carlisle but never the Mopar show. I will be down there this year. I am very familiar with the E-Bay scams. I have had many Corvettes and they are always offering that split-window fuelie for Buy it now for $10,000.  Found a yellow 73 383 4 sp matching #'s for $25,000. Think that's a bit high. Thanks for keeping your eyes open.

Is it a 73 or was that a miss type ? To my understanding the 383 wasn't offered in the ebody after 71 so the matching #'s sounds a little funny.
