What Size Fan on a 70 340

[LAA66]

 Are the the original fans for the 340 HD cooling system 18" or 18-1/2"? Also what other engine used them, I head the hemi also?

Galens book say's 2863213 1968-1971 abce 340 383 440  18"
2863216 1968-1972 bce all v-8 with air 18 1/2 with fan unit (also 340+6)
 No listing with N-51 Max cooling.
So if it has a fan clutch unit it is PROBABLY the 2863216 18 1/2

 That's a great help thanks. It makes sense the A/C cars would have the maximum fan and cooling system they made back then. Mine has no A/C and a threee core radiator. It stays pretty cool even in 95 degree temps. The fan on now is aftermarket flex type and I thought to go back to original.

 I have never dealt with the clutch affect so must claim ignorance here. Were all fans equipped as such or were there also a factory solid fan?

You want the 2863216 fan, the part number is stamped into each blade. It is 18 1/2".

 Thanks Barry. I have been seeing them on eBay and some don't have any numbers on the fan. Prossibly why they are so cheap.

Where is that number stamped? I have several 18 1/2' Mopar fans, one or two still have the Mopar numbered fan clutch on them and I can't find any numbers on any of them.  was it just for a particular year or two they marked them?

Some had a white paint number but most have it stamped near the outer edge of each blade.
 I'll check some of the ones I have to get a good picture.

On the A66 cars (340) was it a 216 fan also?  I know it was on the T/A.Thanks
