That's great  :roflsmiley: Most People that posted seem like they hate it, when people call their car another cars name, I see it as one of the pleasure's of having MOPAR or a Muscle Car. I know for sure Id get a kick out of it, when I get a `cuda and drive it around  :cooldancing:
WANTED 71 cuda / barracuda project. Prefer Black but open.

I remember way back in 90-91? I was driving my battered 79 camaro and came upon another driver and said "nice Challenger" he casually flicked his finger at the hood and said "it's a Cuda"

I am still embarrassed about that all these years later  :smilielol:

I have to add this story that happened yesterday.  I go into auto parts store for a fuel pump.

You know the routine,

What year? 70
What make? Dodge
What model?  Challenger  (Now I can see the computer screen as she's hitting the pull down menu's

Even though I answered Challenger, she went right past it and hit Charger!    :smilielol:

I have been driving my 70 challenger for about 2 months now and i have put about 150 miles on it, just driving it on nice days. There has only been one person stop me and say nice challenger, i have had probably 50 people stop me and tell me that i have a nice charger. I was just wandering if this has ever happened to anyone else.
Hmmm...I thought it was a Charger...

I actually had someone recognize my car as a Challenger the other day!  :screwy:

I was picking up a pizza and the kid at the counter says "nice car". So I say thanks, and wonder what he's going to ask next, you know, like, is it fast, or why don't you paint it orange or whatever. But instead he says

"Do you like Challenger more than the Chargers?"

Of course I say I do, he says "yeah they're a little less boxy looking, I like the profile better"

So I tell him I was surprised he didn't think it WAS a Charger, seeing as how everyone seems to. And he just gives me a surprised look and says "Really?". We talked a little more about the car before I went on my way.

It was actually kinda cool! There are at least a few people out there that know the difference!

Although I'm not sure we should be surprised when people screw it up, since I've been paying attention I've noticed that they're really aren't many E-bodies used as drivers, at least in my area. I certainly haven't seen many out on the road, only a couple locally. On the other hand, I see '60-'70's Mustangs and Camaro's all the time. Practically every day! I do know of a few A-bodies I see on the road on a fairly regular basis doing the daily grind, but not B or E bodies.
