What K-frame is this?
« on: March 17, 2009 - 07:19:50 PM »
Hello!
I bought this last weekend thinking it was a Challenger (e-body) K-frame when I got it home I quickly realized it wasn't as the sway bar won't fit. So what is it? pre-70 B-body? If so is every thing the same except for the sway bar mount? The guy I bought it off will gladly give me my money back so that's no problem. I need to know if everything else is the same as I was considering mounting a Schroeder sway bar set up in it.  It's in really good shape!

it has the 4 holes for mounting the sway bar on the front lip of the K so yeah it is a 66-70 B body
the steering box mount angle is supposed to be different between E & B body

Thanks , do you know in what axis it is different? Is that all the differences? Will it bolt up otherwise?

So your saying the pitman arm will be higher or lower than a e-body K-frame? Is that the way you mean? Just so I understand how you mean?
Thanks again!  Brad
