Saw this on craigslist.  Is it anywhere near legal ?

I have 3 sand rails and don't want to buy tags for all 3 ---2 are titled VW I need a 3rd VW title so I can switch tags depending on the one I want to drive ... I have an asimbiled Vechile title with vin plate to trade for a good Vw title , this Title and Vin plate are Insured and tagged right now so they are very good ...

Sounds illegal to me!! :villagers: I'd forward the listing to the state attorney gen's office from the state of listing!!

 :iagree:  I think the only way you could switch them legally is to have a dealers lic for your cars.  I would check it out before you do anything like that.

There is no legal way to move tags around like that. Bartering, selling or buying VIN tags and / or titles is a felony.
