For Sale-72 challenger PROJECT...Lots of rust.
« on: January 17, 2009 - 08:07:38 PM »

This car is located in San Antonio, TX. It is in my garage collecting dust.  I have a baby on the way so I need to try to move this thing. I do have a title but it is from 76 and hasn't been updated by me or the previos 2 owners.

Front floor pans have some holes over the Tbar area. I have new pans but the tbar will need to be replaced or capped.  Rear floors need to be done too.

The rear seat floor is rusted through right where it meets the inner wheelhouse on the passenger side.

The trunk has a floor but it was done by a shade tree mechanic. If you keep it it will have to have the gas tube hole cut.  I had planned to replace it.

The front frame rails were patched but I think they need to be changed too.

I have most of the interior but it will all need some TLC. Seat will need to be recovered etc.  Door panels are ugly. I have a 383 Block and a 727 that will go with it but they need to be checked out.

Asking $4000 OBO.   I know I know, thats ridiculous so it has "or best offer" attached.

I have a ton of pics inside and out. If you want to see them email me at

Do you have any pics of the rusted and patched frames?  How about any pics of any of the rust problems of the car.

Pass side floor above tbar

Pass rear seat floor near wheelhouse

Roof interior

Pass footwell near firewall.
