My Stay Home Looks like it will be extended now!

Looks like I might get to stay a little longer here I got an e-mail from my boss.  Not sure but will find out monday I hope.  Got most all of my physical done and just waiting on some results.  Maybe they will work it out to where we can get paid some while we are home.  Gordon

Maybe so I hope to hear monday when I will go back.  It is raining now and makes it hard to do much of anything.  Got my parts in a bedroom now and they really fill it up.  Took me a while but I found all of them.  Pretty cool to have almost a full car in the bedroom.      Gordon

That's awesome news Gordon. I'll bet you feel like a kid on Christmas morning under the Christmas tree. Pretty cool just to lie in the middle of all those new toys and take a nap!! Have fun, relax, enjoy life, spend some quality time with your family, friends, girlfriend and don't forget Moparal!! Then go play with the car!!

I am going to try to enjoy life for sure.  My girlfriend left me but been dating a new one.  I have been over at Moparal's several times and he took me a drive with his M46 and that was so cool.  I hope I can get things moved around and get my furnature moved if it will stop raining.  I hope to get to go see my kids soon now also.  Will have to watch pennies so to speak I guess because I am not getting paid for being off.  Been trying to get my bank account straight also and with the time off I can get more things done.  Gordon

Sorry to hear about your girlfriend Gordon. I must have missed that thread (if you posted it) I knew she had had some major surgery. Glad you're dating again. Alan has a sweeet car. I love it!! Glad he's restoring it to original (as possible). Hope it all works out for you Gordon. It's all good!!

Think what I will do is make my plan out of how I am going to do the work on my car.  At least I have a major portion of my parts for my car here already.  Got to see my engine and trans for my car as well.  You would not believe all that ran through my brain as I was looking at my parts and putting them away.  I have been talking to a guy about the possibility of getting a job here so may have one lined up but if not the guy will keep his eyes and ears open for me.  Yes it was like christmas for sure got a lot of parts from members and I thank them for that.  Dont think I have anything in duplicate either yet.  Hard to do when you are not around to make orders.  Gordon

It now looks like I will be home longer than I thought.  May not hear what is going on till after the 30th of march according to the e-mail I got today.  They told us to be patient so I guess I will try.  But may just try to find a job locally now will have more time to do that.  Gordon
