Very cool story but sad ending for that car.

I think someone would buy it.  It would be cool to have that car in the corner of the yard and know the sotry of it's once mighty street prowess then it's ultimate demise... it's cool looking in a sadistic sort of way.

Not to go off topic, but when you were decribing the damage to the car, it reminded me of this Charger.

I thought about keeping it but i decided to cut all of the good parts off of it, because i know someone out there needed them and i have sold everysingle part off of it except for one thing, i like to thing that mabey by cutting this one up it saved a better one that could be fixed from being cut up instead.     and that is really sad about your charger, i know how it feels to do so much work to a car and then have it destroyed in a matter of seconds, i helped my dad restore his 67 fastback mustang to better then new condition and i got rear ended in it one day with a little less then 700 miles on it since the rebuild, totaled the car

yea my dad was pretty bummed out, he had owned the car since 1982 and when he bought it the car had been hit hard in the side and rolled 3 times. He had who knows how much time in that car, but no one was hurt and the car is repairable, it will take a lot of repair but is definatly worth restoring. Good news though, he is thinking of selling the fastback wrecked but with all the parts he has already bought, and he may be buying a plum crazy purple 70 charger 440-6 4 speed project car from his friends brother, i guess all the mopars that I have had are starting to rub off on him
