Has anyone used these 'Cuda tips?
« on: March 22, 2009 - 01:54:16 PM »
More questions will pour in I'm sure as I get this car together, here is one more.

Are there any Cuda owners that have tried these? I know they are not the same as the true tips (from what I can see) but was not sure if they would work for me?
I do have the rear valance with exhaust cutouts, and the car is not "stock" or being rebuilt to a stock nature.

Any feedback would be great, including if you think I need to suck it up and shell out cash for a real set.

I have never used them but I have seen them before, or a similar set, I think possibly in the truck section of a Summit Racing catalog when I was looking for a less expensive alternative to Challenger tips.

I think these were the ones I was thinking of.... they have others similar to this also.  I know the ones I was looking at before had more of a seam on the sides like the ones in the Ebay auction you posted.  Summit has a ton of tips so it's kind of tough to find the ones I was thinking of.  :dunno:

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.
