does anyone make a reproduction 22" core support assembly or just the 26". i am going to replace my drivers side inner fender and would like to replace my core support at the same time. i would switch to a wider core but i have already purchased a really expensive aluminum radiator. thanks for all your help, this site rocks and is an absolute must for any ebody owner.

no one makes the 22 inch left panel, the right is the same for 22 or 26.

Left is typically considered driver side.

so is dave saying the drivers side is the same for 22" and 26"??  to me it looks like the difference would need to be made up on the passenger side panel as its alreadr close to the battery tray on the drivers side. i feel real stupid asking these questions but i would really love to replace the panel on the drivers side as this car took a light hit on that side and that piece no matter how much i hammer on it i cant get it perfect.

left or right is always referred to as being seated in the car. yes the LEFT panel 22 is the same as 26, the difference is the right panel

unfortunately no, the upper tie bar is already welded to the right and left panels with the lower being loose. the have not serviced the right panel separate yet. not sure if they will. sorry

Juat to clarify, both sides are different when going between a 22" and 26".  Its just that the DS is only about 1/2" off, so the difference isn't noticed once you have the slots in radiator.

Here is a 26" wide opening.  Notice the difference is about 1/2", especially around the square opening.
