Ok I can't seem to find a definite answer on this question so here it goes, will any of the following Hurst shifters work in an e-body using the stock e body rods, levers and bolt on pistol grip handle?

i tried a 68 shifter, it works, but not well. the ones for the e body have different arms to fit the rods. the 68 shifter had my rod rubbing on some tranny bolts.

After wondering the same thing, I decided to play it safe and just decided to go with this:

I am not sure about how it works, because I haven't collected all of the conversion parts so I still have the automatic in my car.
