Fuse box help needed
« on: March 28, 2009 - 08:05:05 PM »
I just got my challenger all wired up, everything works except for one thing. I cannot get my light bar to light up, I replaced all of the bulbs before i installed it. it was the only thing not working so i thought mabey the fuse was bad, so i put a new fuse in it, still nothing so i got down there with my test light and every single place a fuse goes lit up my test light except the one for the light bar. there is no power what so ever going to that one fuse and I cannot figure out why. I am not very good with electrical stuff so any help would be great

It might be that the light bar harness connector is unplugged from the orange three section female connector on the main wiring harness.

I thought at first that mabey it had to be plugged into a ceartin one of the 3 holes and i plugged the lightbar harness into all three holes and tested it one at a time and still no luck    :clueless:

it may not be grounded, bought one of those dash pads that have the plastic core instead of the metal ones (saved like 400 dollars) so there is nothing really for it to ground to. Ill hook up a ground strap here in the next few days and let you guys know if it solves the problem.

start tracing the orange circuit , it goes from the headlight switch through the fuse panel to the orange triple plug
