Me and the wife talked about selling the Challenger, and damned if that woman didn't warm me to the core. She said the Challenger would be the last thing to sell. She's my little  :angelwings:  So we sold my truck instead. Next is her car. So until we're down to pedal power and chicken noodle soup, the Challenger is safe. :2thumbs:
Don't look back, I might be gaining on you.

Been through some though times in the 33 years we've been together.  There was high school, scraping by for fuel, insurance, car parts.... What was left over went to the basic necessities such as food. :P

In 83 after living on my own for 5 years, I couldn't pay the rent and lost my home. Had to move in with the folks which was humbling. There wasn't a decent job prospect in sight either. Pretty discouraging.

Eventually a new job in a machine shop cleaning parts and any other basic work got things moving forward again.

The early eighties were as tough as right now and as strange as it seems, The Dodge was always a saving grace. Something to fall back on when jobs, girls, or life in general went south. A positive aspect of life.

 OK, Ok,  :blah:

Well, the crisis started in the states an I think that fist it will end in the States too. Your country has the most free market economy what hurts when you lose job from one day to another but in Europe this will last longer - we habve that habit to maintain jobs what will end with large, state-owned compenies' bancrupcies when the gov't ceases finansial support for firms with no future.
Some of my friends lost their jobs too, fortunately I have a firm that deals with gov't projects (EU money) and the crisis doesn't hurt us.
I hope you all find better jobs, maybe no the day after being laid-off but hey, you are in the states - the country that is full of options and challenges. And I'm sure the last thing you think to sell is your mopar ;)
I keep my fingers crossed!

I'm not really hurting, however if mine was done and together I'd probally sell it if I could get what I wanted for it... seems things are going to get worse.  I have already sold a bike, a car, and my truck.  Better safe than sorry, I'd love ot be totally out of debt, but I'll work on other peoples cars for now.  Can't say I've been affected yet.

It's hard to even consider selling any of my Mopars after all the time, effort and $$$ put into them.  If that decision ever has to come, I'd probably have to let my B-body go and do anything to keep the E-body.  This thread is depressing  :'(
