Well the first issue was the ground to the battery in the trunk wiggled unloose from under the floormat which explains why the power was kicking in and out.... thats fixed for good now

The main issue was switching to the 1 wire alternator.... I pulled out the unneeded harness and ran 4 guage wire from the alt right back to the trunk on the cutoff side of the switch.. I ran a signal test on my MSD box cause they are famous for giving up the ghost  :pullinghair: but the box was good and I bought a new coil anyways but it wasnt that either....  After I jumped it off the relay with a screwdriver to look for spark from the #1 plug wire the car kicked over and scared the crap out of me  :scared:

The problem was from trying to crank the motor over without the old harness etc.. at CRANK the power was shutting down like it is supposed to start the car... while doing this it was cutting power to my MSD and of course no spark  :faint: now I have the MSD ran separte and all is good.... Im off all week so Ill try to make a vid or something

Thing sounds NaSty and the throttle response is great for CNC'd max wedged ports and a big tall intake...

Glad you got it started Jason. I know that is a relief to you. I would luv to hear/see a video of the nasty motor!! I saw the wicked setup you have with those heads, intake and carb, but I was wondering if this was just and upper end upgrade or a whole new motor?? :dunno: :dunno: I can't wait to get my motor installed and running in my car. I've about got everything I need now, just gotta get some welding done and then have the engine bay painted. I am not patient!!! :smilielol:
