fuel pump line routing question
« on: April 04, 2009 - 07:02:43 PM »
I am bending my own line for the fuel pump line that goes up to the intake/carb....

Having some  real issues making some of the compound bends etc.....I took a couple pictures...can someone take a look and tell me if they think the alternator will clear ok?

I dont have the alt yet to try......Seems like I should be ok, but feeling pretty unsure......

Also, if anyone can take a picture of their alternator area so I can see where its sits etc that would really help....Iam also wondering about my bracketry...seems like I have a bracket for A/C maybe?

Sorry..I know this is really newbie crap.  Thanks guys

Thanks Chryco, as usual, for your input........Cant tell you how frustrated I got while bending it...I definately think bending line is an art.....

I know its not pretty but I guess it will work...LOL

I think what was making it frustrating is that I was trying to follow a definate certain path...when it started straying from that path (each bend changes things it seems) I got bent myself...maybe I needed a few beers to lube the process....LOL

Gotta keep telling myself to relax and ENJOY this!

You can HAVE that job!

Probably would have been cheaper and easier to buy the original line and cut it.....of course I wouldnt have learned anything....LOL
