You could buy a mint dash (maybe) and a year or so down the road leave it out in the sun and come back and she is cracked. After 38 years they get brittle and crack easy. I had my 73 dash repaired, it looked fantastic. Once I turned on my radiant heater this winter she cracked in new places.
