« on: April 08, 2009 - 05:02:59 PM »
Can anyone let me know where the running lights on the fender sides and the tail lights ground. I have a poor ground on these lights and I cannot find the point where these lights ground to clean connection and improbe gound.

the tailights round through the housings inside the trunk , if the car has been painted you either have to scrape the paint away or add a wires to ground them
sidelights have a wire that goes back into the harness & I thought ties in with the headlight harness

Ok, I will clean the connection to the tail lights and see if that works.
Where is the grounding point on the side marker harness? In the front, on the frame, Any help would be great!! My front turn signals and upper fender blinkers work. So I was not sure if it grounded with those. Also one of the four markets are working. They worked fine until I installed a new set of lenses a few months back.

All of the markers groudn through the housings, front and rear.  Headlights ground where the forward light harness passes through the radiator cowl.

You may have lost contact in the rubber sockets when twisting off & on. Remove & reseat the bulbs, probe the socket for voltage to make sure you have a circuit, ohm the bulb to make sure it's good.
