    Added EB Intake & 570 4 Barrel to 318.......SWEET!

    I know that most of you guys are enjoying some serious horse power, so I feel a bit goofy with my little 318 story..........................
    But what the heck, I put an Edelbrock Dual Plain manifold and a 570 Holley Street Avenger Carburetor on my little 318. I am very pleased with the improved throttle response and the overall power increase. The hesitation is GONE!!! It's a smooth and responsive car at last.

     I've got a pair of 2 1/2'' Flowmasters that will go one next. I'll run dual exhaust from my stock manifolds.....I may not be fast, but at least I'll sound good!

    Very Cool , the 570 is a great carb on the 318 & don`t underestimate the 318 I have seen it kill far bigger compedators for other camps with ease

    I can see where it's got some potential. When I hammer the old girl, she really stands up and gets going. The front end sits way up in first gear when I floor it, it never did that before!
     I can see where a guy could get carried away..... next you get a cam, then you get the heads worked on, then some headers, electronic ignition.......
    It would never be a 340 or a 360, but it could be pretty respectable.

    Your wrong!!! Add this set up to your 318 and you'll be far beyond most 340s!!! This little 318 only made 745 hp to the rear wheels!!!

    Yean he will run a low 13 without the proper setup chassis....  :lol2:

    He would need a DANA 60 also..... did you here that DAVE a DANA 60  :misbehaving:
