But I like running the exhaust intake heat to help vaporize the fuel so it can burn, if the intake is cold then I would run a 180 in the summer and a 195 even in the cool weather.
Maybe Michigan gasoline is different but I have no problems with vapor lock even in upper 80 degree weather which is about as hot as it gets here...even then the nights cool off in to the 60's, that is why I found its best to leave the exhaust heat passage open on the intake and just use a compost gasket under the carb.
