Goodmark Challenger RT hood final fit
« on: April 14, 2009 - 10:06:05 PM »
Hood matched up to AMD hood hinges with no problems.   Front to back contours on left/right side of hood that follow the tops of the fenders were not exactly the same.  Body shop rolled the drivers side edge to add a little more crown to that side of hood.  Best fit of hood contour to top of fender contour was to pull out ALL the fender shims.   Looks good now.
Aft end of hood where it rises up over windwipers matches OEM fender on both sides.
OEM hood scoop inserts were worked a little;  the 4 posts that have threaded holes for attachment to the hood were shortened a bit at a time until scoops lay mostly flat on hood attach flanges.  Overall scoop fit was good.
Gage thickness of hood compared to OEM was thinner for sure.  Maybe a weight savings for front of car
