New Instrument cluster for E bodies
« on: February 14, 2020 - 12:25:52 PM »
Check this out, they say it is available for a limited time only

Those not familiar with this should know that the normal DD E body gauge cluster has more GM style markings, this one is very accurate and modern. If I had another E body project I would buy one in a heart beat.

I like it!  $980 ain't bad.

However, wish they'd change the font to be more OEM on their newer gauge set:

The one I posted (which was built for Kenny Wayne Shepard) is as close as you will get to OEM I think. The standard version they make (and have made) has GM type font IMO

My buddy's uncle would love this. We're visiting him this weekend to give a hand installing the headache rack/railings, undercover tonneau and exhaust on his current truck project. He got this E-body project he's been building slowly. Gonna call them if the cluster is still available.

Does this come with the rally bezel or front face plate for that price? Im looking into rewiring my car this winter, and it might be nice to install some gauges that work like this set-up at the same time.

I just ordered the new RTX gauge cluster from DD, it should be here next month. This is exactly what I have been pestering them about for a solid decade at SEMA. Once I get them I will post some videos on my YouTube channel reviewing the gauges as well as showing the installation process. They do not come with the bezel, it's just the cluster. Below is a link to my YouTube channel. I will also be posting updates on the progress to my Facebook page as well (which is also linked below).
