    Lucky or What?

    Last November my wife wanted to buy me a Challenger for my 50th, but I could not let her do that...I know, I know  :screwy:  Well her 50th is coming up this summer and we stumbled on a used (basically new), 2008 SRT-8 Challenger.  Well my wife said she wanted this car and it would be for both of our 50th birthday's.  Am I lucky or what!  :wow:  This is a fully loaded SRT-8 with pwr sunroof, navigation, thief protection, high performance tires and only had 560 miles on the odometer.  This is going to be a show/collector car and not a daily driver.  Hope it will be a good investment down the road.  Hard to believe we own a Hemi Challenger...too cool.  :bananasmi

    Don't ever get rid of a wife that wants a new Hemi for her birthday!  Congrats...awesome cars... :2thumbs:

    You seem to be getting a nice collection of Mopars there brutha! It might have to be used if they do away with the Challenger but in a couple of years I WILL GET ONE!

    Hey Brett, I NEVER thought I'd end up with an SRT-8, so you never know.  Even if they go away after 09 (let's hope not) Challengers will pop up on the market as resales for some time so fear not.  Us finding an SRT-8 on a used car lot is the perfect example.  :burnout:

    That's Ok, I'm happily married anyway, just never hurts to keep your options open!  Mine would probably buy me one if I whined enough but I am out of room in the garage!  Nice cars!  I found a 70 lime light 340 car that needs restored but has a nice body for 12K so now I have to decide if I want to sell my Trans Am and buy a new Challenger or buy the 70 Cuda and restore another one.  Either way I need to sell the T/A first.
