Pinks All Out!

Well, we just got in from Pinks at the new ZMAX dragstrip in Charlotte NC,  Man did we ever have a great time.  The new track has two sets of lanes and yes we did get to see four cars at a time leave on an arm drop.  There was a Challenger and Cuda that made it into the final 32, The Cuda got beat and the Challenger lost traction half track and had to let it go.  They said the show would air late July so i wont tell you who won but you guys must see this one.

Sorry I missed it!!! With the turn out I'm sure it will be back soon. It must of been wild to see 4 cars drag racing at once!!! You going to Farmington on the 9th? Sounds like Scott has alot of work to do to get his Chally ready.

That is so cool. I remember seeing some old pictures of four funny cars running four wide back in the 60's. I doubt if NHRA would allow four fuel cars to run at the same time anymore.

The Dart won that race...  The Challenger let out half track, i think it broke lose and he was trying to get it to hook back up but im not sure.  I am going to farmington as of of now.  Are you going?  Let me know, we could meet up before we leave town.

I'm going. I talked to Scott and the plans are to meet up and all cruise up there together. I'll let you know when and where we'll meet up closer to the 9th.

You could have a quadruple break out, nice.......
That's one way to speed up the race and get out by 12 noon... 
Some tracks take so long to run their races,  a 100 lanes wide wouldn't make a difference....
Anybody remember Long Island Speedway? four lanes with the tree's hanging from a cable across the starting line....

That's a cool looking track and what a sweeet lineup!! :2thumbs:I need to make a trip from VA down there one weekend and check it out in person.
