Hello All! Just a little background on myself. For all MOPAR fans please read this post in its entirety. I work as a Service Advisor for a Ford dealership in Atlanta and my family are HUGE Mustang Fans. We have a '66 and a '10 mustang. Our '08 mustang we traded for ....... wait for it....... a '09 Hemi Orange Challenger R/T. I actually had a Challenger on order but the order was cancelled when the plants were taken off line. I attempted a dealer trade, but -yeah- no dealer in their right mind would let go one of these gems. Every dealer I called told me virtually the same thing, "we just sold the last one". I drove 70 miles to the largest Dodge dealer in Georgia and we purchased the R/T plus a Silver SRT8. Dodge hit a home run with the Challenger and like them just as much as our mustangs. (FYI the 2010 Mustangs are leaps and bounds improved over the 2005-2009 models!) We picked up the Challengers on Saturday and I drove the R/T to work today and left it in the service drive. Most of the employees there had not seen a Challenger in Person and did that car get a LOT of attention. In fact the service manager kept coming out of his office to look at the car saying, "This is a beautiful car and this is how American cars should be." I have to agree as nice as the Mustang is, the Challenger has styling which conjures up childhood memories of muscle car greatness that no other car presently can match. Over the past couple of days, many people have asked, "which do you like better, the mustangs or the challengers." That's like asking which Child do you love more? If you will bear with me for a moment I will give you my personal opinion on the strong and weak points of the new Challenger R/T vs the new 2010 Mustang.

Anyway, the Challenger is one Bad-Ass car and has captured the hearts and minds of the Muscle car nation. It really is too bad, once again, it came to the party so late.
