Fender tag decode
« on: April 14, 2009 - 05:03:52 PM »
I just joined the forum.  Was wondering if someone could decode my fender tag:

26 END
N42 N85 N95 R22 Y14
J45 M21 M25 M31 M88 N41
EF8 A21 A62 B51 G36 J25
EF8 H4X9 000 106 061466
E55 D32 BS23 HOE 127933

P.S.  What is the second little tag that has an I  K punched in it?

thanks

I contacted Barry Washinton (Alaskan T/A) here is his site. http://www.hamtramck-historical.com/services-d.shtml

For a small fee he breaks down your tag and sends you a nice letter stating what your codes are.  He just did mine and I couldn't be happier.  :2thumbs:

And you dug out the N95.  You da man!

The only option I don't understand clearly is the M88, Decklid moldings treatment.  Unless this is the trim pieces on the back panel of the car below the truck here the taillights are?

M88 on a Cuda includes the tail panel trim & the blackout paint inside it.
