Hate to hear it but I bet more things will happen that way soon.
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

The downward spiral continues.  I sure hope this thing bottoms out pretty soon.

I haven't bought that mag for years since they should be called Chevy Rod anyway.

damn...

i hope hot rod mag sticks around...

i love that mag, nothing else comes close to the varied coverage of cool vehicular stuff that it has.
and it's got by far the best design and photography

:iagree: And the other Mopar mags.  I like Car Craft too.

So many magazines have gone under, maybe from the internet?

I still like the magazines.  Don't have a computer in my bathroom......yet....  :roflsmiley:  :smilielol:

THey'd sell more if they had more hotties on the cover and innards like DUB or IMPORT RACER.

Sex sells; sorry to say.

I prefer SUPER ROD anyway to HOT ROD.  Much more of a pro-touring, high-tech slant to old cars.

Hot Rod was great, but too generic. Today consumers want what they have....aka mopar etc

I just got mail from them offering me two free years and a clock. I had it for a year once, but only did it to get a free hat  They like to cool put Mopars on the cover and then you buy it and it has one page with the cover car and 18 articles on how to build a small block Chevy. You'd have to be severly retarded at this point to not know how to do that after 50+ years of monthly "How to build your SB Chevy" articles.  :icon16:

Maybe they thought the free decal they included that has a 1st Gen Camaro on it would seal the deal.  :eek4:
