Anyone changed Original Mufflers for More Sound on a SRT8 yet?

I want to get more SOUND on my 2008 SRT8, and I can not afford to spend 2K. Anyone have any tips? Thanks

There's gotta be a universal muffler with more flow, what are the dimensions?  I'd go from there.

The concept Challenger I saw at the NY auto show I think in 06 had flowmasters on it. So one would guess that they make a case that would work for it. I am sure if you called them they would tell you what ones to get. Matter of fact any of the other brands should/would do the same.

I have the DMH electric exhaust cutouts on my SRT-8 Charger.  Louder than any aftermarket exhaust, cheaper than all of them, and you can make it quiet at the touch of a button when you want.

Check out challengertalk.com, many threads on this. Many with automatics have replaced the suitcase muffler with other mufflers (many to choose from). I have a 6 speed 09 and took off the rear resonators and replaced with straight pipe. Nice low rumble muscle car feel now.
